Toe Pain/ Bunion Orthotic
Designed to address the source of discomfort, restore balance, and support all-day mobility
Designed to address bunion pain, big toe joint discomfort, and flat feet, this high-arch orthotic provides firm structural support to improve foot mechanics and reduce stress through the forefoot. Many cases of big toe pain are linked to collapsed arches, which restrict normal joint motion and overload the big toe. By supporting the arch, this orthotic helps to realign the foot and unlock the big toe joint, allowing it to function more efficiently.
Featuring a rigid polypropylene shell and stabilising forefoot design, this orthotic offers corrective support to help manage pain, reduce joint inflammation, and promote long-term foot health. A cushioned EVA top cover adds comfort and shock absorption for everyday wear.
Key Features
High Arch Profile – Provides firm, corrective support for collapsed or weakened arches, helping to restore alignment and improve big toe joint function.
Rigid Forefoot Support – Limits excessive motion through the big toe joint, assisting in reducing inflammation and joint irritation associated with bunions and arthritis.
Durable Polypropylene Shell – Strong, lightweight shell designed to control foot mechanics and provide long-lasting structural support.
EVA Top Cover – Adds cushioning, comfort, and shock absorption while maintaining stability and support.
Corrective, High-Control Design – Engineered for individuals requiring firm support rather than soft cushioning alone.
Helps With
This orthotic is designed to assist in managing conditions related to forefoot overload, poor arch support, and flat feet, including:
-
Bunion pain (hallux valgus)
-
Big toe joint pain (hallux limitus/rigidus)
-
Flat feet and collapsed arches
-
Forefoot joint inflammation
-
Arthritic changes in the big toe
-
Foot fatigue related to poor biomechanics
What to Expect
Due to its firm, corrective design, this orthotic may feel stiff or unfamiliar at first, particularly if you are new to structured arch support. A short adjustment period is normal. With gradual wear, the orthotic can assist in pain management, improve function, and may help slow further deterioration of the big toe joint by reducing ongoing mechanical stress.
Ideal For
-
Individuals with bunion or big toe joint pain
-
Those with collapsed arches or flat feet
-
People requiring firm, corrective orthotic support
-
Everyday footwear with adequate depth and support
-
Long-term pain management and joint protection
Support the Arch. Protect the Big Toe.
By addressing the underlying cause of big toe overload and flat feet — collapsed arches — this orthotic provides more than short-term relief. It delivers structured support designed to improve function, manage pain, and protect your feet over time.
Instructions for Use
Remove Existing Insoles
Remove any removable insoles from your shoes to allow adequate space and correct positioning.
Insert the Orthotic Correctly
Place the orthotic into the shoe with the heel seated firmly at the back and the arch aligned with your natural arch.
Check Fit Before Walking
Ensure the orthotic lies flat, does not slide, and does not curl. Your foot should feel supported and stable.
Wear With Suitable Footwear
Best suited to supportive shoes with a firm heel counter and adequate depth. Avoid very soft or unsupportive footwear.
Break-In Period
Because this orthotic provides firm, high-profile arch support, an adjustment period is expected.
Recommended Break-In Schedule
Days 1–3: Wear for 1–2 hours per day
Days 4–6: Increase to 3–4 hours per day
Days 7–10: Gradually increase to all-day wear as tolerated
Important Tips
Mild arch or muscle soreness during the adjustment phase is common.
If discomfort becomes sharp or painful, remove the orthotic and reduce wear time the following day.
Do not attempt to “push through” significant pain — gradual adaptation is essential.
Most users adapt within 1–2 weeks, after which the orthotic should feel supportive and comfortable. Following the break-in period, our orthotics can be worn during everyday activities, beginning with walking and standing, and gradually increasing activity levels.

Everything you need to know
Clear answers, clinically backed—so you can move forward with confidence.
How do I know which Orthotics are right for me?
We offer an easy-to-use interactive quiz that helps determine the best Orthotics for your needs. Answer a few quick questions, and we'll recommend the perfect fit for your condition.
Can I wear these Orthotics in any type of shoes?
No. Orthotics fit best in shoes with enough depth, a removable insole, and a rounded toe box—such as trainers, leather shoes, walking shoes and boots. If a shoe does not have enough space such as court shoes, or narrow-toed boots; a ¾ metatarsal-length orthotic is recommended to provide support while fitting more comfortably.
How long does it take to feel the benefits?
This varies from person to person and depends on factors such as the type and severity of the condition, how long it has been present, and individual lifestyle demands. It is recommended to give orthotics at least 8 weeks of consistent wear to assess their full effect
Are your Orthotics suitable for people with specific foot conditions?
Absolutely! Our Orthotics provide support and relief for common foot issues like plantar fasciitis, heel pain, flat feet, overpronation, ankle pain, toe pain and much more. Please complete our Quiz to find the best fit for you.
