Consultation Process
Appointments use a secure, device-compatible video platform with 24/7 online booking. A clinical history and visual assessment are completed, followed by a summary outlining findings, diagnosis, and recommended management.
Scope of Care
Virtual consultations may include:-
- Assessment of foot and ankle conditions
- Working diagnosis via history and visual exam
- Personalised treatment and management plan
- Education, self-management, and rehab guidance

- Footwear, orthoses, and activity advice
Referrals and Investigations
Where clinically indicated, we may:
- Refer or triage patients to appropriate healthcare professionals, including physiotherapists, orthopaedic surgeons, rheumatologists, or podiatric surgeons
- Request diagnostic investigations such as X-ray, ultrasound, or MRI to support clinical decision-making
Payment and Insurance
Virtual podiatry appointments are self-funded, with possible insurance reimbursement subject to prior approval. They are suitable for initial assessments, follow-ups and ongoing care.
