FAQs
How do I know which Orthotics are right for me?
We offer an easy-to-use interactive quiz that helps determine the best Orthotics for your needs. Answer a few quick questions, and we'll recommend the perfect fit for your condition.
Can I wear these Orthotics in any type of shoes?
No. Orthotics fit best in shoes with enough depth, a removable insole, and a rounded toe box—such as trainers, leather shoes, walking shoes and boots. If a shoe does not have enough space such as court shoes, or narrow-toed boots; a ¾ metatarsal-length orthotic is recommended to provide support while fitting more comfortably.
How long does it take to feel the benefits?
This varies from person to person and depends on factors such as the type and severity of the condition, how long it has been present, and individual lifestyle demands. It is recommended to give orthotics at least 8 weeks of consistent wear to assess their full effect
Are your Orthotics suitable for people with specific foot conditions?
Absolutely! Our Orthotics provide support and relief for common foot issues like plantar fasciitis, heel pain, flat feet, overpronation, ankle pain, toe pain and much more. Please complete our Quiz to find the best fit for you.
How do I clean and maintain my Orthotics?
Simply wipe them with a damp cloth or a wipe and mild soap. Avoid soaking them in water or exposing them to high heat to maintain durability.
What if my Orthotics don’t fit properly?
Comfort is a priority. Please refer to the quiz and sizing guide for assistance. If the orthotics do not fit as expected, contact the support team for help in finding the most suitable solution. Returns are available within 14 days of receipt for non-custom orders.
How long do Stance Orthotics last?
Orthotics generally last 12–18 months, though this can vary depending on usage, activity level, body weight, and the type of footwear worn. Heavier use or high-impact activities may cause them to wear out more quickly. Over time, the materials can compress or lose their shape, reducing their effectiveness. It’s important to monitor orthotics for signs of wear and replace them as needed to maintain proper support and comfort.
For custom orders, the coverings on the orthotics can be replaced every 1–2 years for a fee, restoring them to look and feel like new. Contact our support team to send your orthotics back for a full refurbishment.
Do you offer refunds or exchanges?
Refunds or exchanges are available within 14 days of receipt for non-custom items only. Items must be unworn, unused, and returned in their original packaging. Please contact our support team for further information or refer to our refund and exchange policy.
FAQs About Orthotics
What is the purpose of an orthotic?
Orthotics are designed to support the structure of the foot, improve alignment, and redistribute pressure when walking or standing. They help improve foot mechanics and reduce strain on the feet, ankles, knees, and lower back.
What is the difference between orthotics and insoles?
Insoles are primarily designed for cushioning and comfort, while orthotics provide structured support to improve foot alignment and control how the foot moves.
Do orthotics help with forefoot pain?
Yes. Orthotics can help redistribute pressure across the foot and reduce excessive load on the ball of the foot, which may help relieve conditions such as metatarsalgia and Morton’s neuroma.
Can orthotics help with plantar heel pain?
Orthotics support the arch and stabilise the heel, which helps reduce strain on the plantar fascia and can relieve heel pain associated with plantar fasciitis.
How do I know if I need orthotics?
You may benefit from orthotics if you experience foot pain, pressure in the ball of the foot, fatigue when standing, flat feet, high arches, or discomfort during walking or running.
How do I choose the right orthotics?
The best orthotics depend on your foot shape, activity level, and areas of discomfort. Taking a short quiz or reviewing orthotics designed for your specific needs can help you find the right support.
